I started an organic farm in 1997 and began selling at the local farmers markets in the Salt Lake City area. To be able to make a living I soon found that I would have to supplement my income by selling my art. The farm eventually evolved into The Wooden Moth. I'm enjoying creating a wide range of art and jewelry using different materials and mediums.

I really enjoy learning new mediums and processes. I grow flowers and press them for my art. I then make linocut prints on handmade papers with the pressed flowers and dip them in beeswax. I also do silversmithing and jewelry using sterling silver and brass. I've been working with laser engraving recently and I find it fascinating. It's

I also do silversmithing and jewelry using sterling silver and brass. I've been working with laser engraving recently and I find it fascinating. It's essentially carving metal with light. Its very fun to play with.

I live for being in a creative headspace and connecting with other people in creative ways. I play flute, guitar and just started playing the saxophone. I have just started to write a fantasy fiction series that I have been thinking about for about 25 years.
